Our Breeding Philosophy

Bringing Joy and Happiness through Lovingly Bred Groodles, one wag at a time.

At Fairview Park Groodles, we believe that responsible breeding is the cornerstone of raising happy, healthy, and well-adjusted Groodles. Our breeding philosophy is built on a foundation of ethical practices, meticulous care, and a deep commitment to the welfare of our dogs. We strive to produce Groodles that excel in health, temperament, and intelligence, making them perfect companions for families, therapy work, and more.

Ethical Breeding Practices

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of our breeding program. Our ethical breeding practices include:

Selective Breeding: We carefully select breeding pairs based on their health, temperament, and genetic diversity. This ensures that our puppies inherit the best qualities from both parents.

Health Screening: All our breeding dogs undergo rigorous health screenings, including genetic testing, to prevent hereditary health issues. This commitment to health ensures that our puppies have the best start in life.

Optimal Care: Our dogs are part of our family and receive the highest level of care. They live in a loving, nurturing environment where their physical and emotional needs are met.

Early Development and Socialisation

We believe that early development and socialisation are crucial for raising well-rounded Groodles. To achieve this, we incorporate the Badass Breeder (BAB) curriculum into our breeding program.

Badass Breeder (BAB) Curriculum

The BAB curriculum is a comprehensive program designed to ensure that our puppies are well-socialised, confident, and adaptable. Key components of the BAB curriculum include:

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS): Starting at three days old, our puppies undergo ENS exercises to enhance their neurological development. This helps them become more resilient and better equipped to handle stress.

Sensory Exposure: We introduce our puppies to a variety of sights, sounds, and textures to stimulate their senses and promote adaptability. This includes exposure to different environments, household noises, and various surfaces.

Socialisation: Our puppies are socialised with people of all ages, other dogs, and various animals. This helps them develop strong social skills and reduces the likelihood of behavioural issues.

Basic Training: We begin basic training early, including crate training, toilet training, and simple commands. This foundation makes it easier for new owners to continue training and establish routines.

Comprehensive Evaluations: Puppies put their curriculum into action and are assessed between weeks 7-8 to give new families comprehensive information on each puppies temperament and behavioural traits to help them pick a puppy that will best suit their circumstances and give puppies a voice in their selection.

Ongoing Support and Education

Our commitment to our puppies and their new families doesn’t end at adoption. We provide ongoing support and education to ensure a smooth transition and a successful lifelong partnership.
