The absolutely gorgeous Luna has now retired from our breeding program after welcoming her final beautiful litter in October 2025.

Across her litters, Luna’s puppies have been truly special – much loved, highly sought after, and a wonderful reflection of her exceptional temperament and structure. Luna has the sweetest soul, and even in retirement she continues to play a very important role at Fairview Park. She is very much the matriarch of the program, and it’s a joy to watch her help care for and nurture the other mums’ puppies. She genuinely loves all of the pups as if they were her own, and it is just the sweetest thing to see.

Luna is beautifully structured, healthy, and has a calm, affectionate temperament. She is DNA clear and hip and elbow scored, with excellent results of 6 for hips and 0 for elbows, well below breed average.

Luna’s legacy continues through her daughters Poppy, Lilly, and Mabel, who have each inherited her very best traits — her gentle nature, emotional steadiness, people-focused temperament, and beautiful structure. Through them, Luna’s influence remains a cornerstone of the Fairview Park program and will continue for generations to come. 

First and foremost, Luna is a much-loved family pet and will always have a home here at Fairview Park Groodles. In retirement, she continues to enjoy life on the property while providing calm guidance and reassurance to both puppies and younger mums alike.

As a purebred Golden Retriever, Luna was paired with carefully selected, fully furnished Poodles to produce beautiful F1 Groodles with the classic teddy bear look and soft fleece coats. Even though Luna has now retired, we are able to continue to achieve the high percentage golden retriever F1 style through pairing her daughters with carefully matched groodles with similar features and beautiful soft wavy fleece coats. 

Her puppies have consistently been known for their stunning appearance, beautiful temperaments, and just the right amount of cheeky charm to keep their families laughing every day.
